Goodness gracious.Actor William Shatner has sold his kidney stone for $25,000, with the money going to a housing charity, it was announced Tuesday.
Shatner reached agreement Monday to sell the stone to GoldenPalace.com.
"This takes organ donors to a new height, to a new low, maybe. How much is a piece of me worth?" he said in a telephone interview.

Giving to charity, fine, but who would buy a kidney stone for that much money? I mean, what would you do with it? You'd have to worship the guy or something.
If I had the money, I'd donate it, not buy a kidney stone for charity. Gross.
WILLIAM SHATNER!!!! OMG!!!!! I'm so glad he did that. It fits with the impossibly odd music and stuff. William Shatner... I bet if my sweetheart's parents had money, they would have totally bought it to put with the autographed Shatner pic next to the family photos. It gives me great hope that people I disagree with on so many political levels can still be badass enough to raise their kids to trek.
